Thanks Ken, I have thought about fish but they don't live with pyrethrum use they would be great for keeping control of algae but now I have some pond weed it is less of a problem.
Did I mention that I love your murraya

I love my murraya too :D
I finally got the original drawings from Peter Adams, and now they are in getting framed to hang in the foyer at home :-)
I have only to carve the big branch, and then build the foliage up to final shape and I will be ready for a pot :-)

Been there simon, Get some Besser blocks or old bricks and timber. Build somethingsimple as it is always more enjoyable to see them spread out a little where you can appreciate them.

When I read this I was worried about getting a build up of fert in the water by reusing it but using it on the trees not connected to the catchment is a great idea Ken. This might also reduce the amount of mowing I have to do if I'm not watering/fertilising the lawn every time I water my plants :palm:

Thanks for sharing

Due to renovations here, I have had to move some trees around, and in the process created a space for a new bench / plank for some of my Shohin trees.
these get morning sun up till midday then full shade, and for the moment I will be hand watering these all.
