A little repotting

Post by shibui »

I must have done something right. This is the first time I have been able to keep such a little tree alive in a bonsai pot for a whole year
Given that it is such a small pot and the roots have grown out through the drainage holes I thought it could do with a re-pot.

The frustrating thing about such small bonsai is there is not room for more than a couple of branches.

Now :fc: that it survives the coming season

I've seen lots smaller at shows - someone showed a fig planted in a hollow human tooth at one BSV show - but not sure if any of them lasted a whole year. Mine never have - so I'm :D
