Beauty of a Bonsai
Flowering time for my beloved Sakura. It reminds me what Bonsai is all about albeit they may carry very little money value these days

It is a Sakura. Confirmed by my Japanese friends. Never failed me in the last ten years to flower in August then comes the lovely leaves thro out the whole year until winter.

I bought a dozen seeds online last year but they came from the USA and none of them sprouted, still have them planted. Not sure if it was the change in hemisphere/seasons or if I really do need to stop buying seeds online...

Try to grow from seed? It would be my guess the pain left your back, even for a short time, while you were taking those pic's Bon. There is a very special place for flowering Bonsai in everyone's collection. Beautiful tree mate.
