So had originally thought this to be a wisteria. Until I saw these flowers appear. Any ideas?

Have a similar plant, well over 50 years old, growing on my back fence. The thing is a nightmare as it just keeps growing and I find it difficult to stay on top of trimming!

No clue what it is though... Sorry.

Regards,
Mo

I was thinking the Pandorea pandorana but the leaves dont seem to match.

The flowers are tiny also. Maybe 15mm long an 4mm at the widest.

Thanks Hackimoto... I think you are right..

This has to be it.

Pandorea_pandorana
P. 'Golden Showers' is a long-flowering vigorous form with brown-tinted yellow flowers originally selected from a plant growing near Kempsey on the New South Wales mid-north coast.[10] Initially called "Golden Rain", it was registered by ACRA in 1987.[11]

The only thing that was throwing me off was the Leaves. Maybe it's just the new leaves as they have the Jagged edges and seem very soft in comparison the the photos of the mature plant.

Next Question.... Has anyone bonsai'ed on of these?

Rick
