Marie Hewartson pot
Hi all,
At the recent AABC/BCI Convention at the Gold Coast was a stall by Marie Hewartson with her hand and wheel thrown pots.
I bought this one. At first glance it is similar to a PK pot but on a closer look it has different proportions and detail.
A friend of mine also bought a lovely green glazed pot.
I wish her well with her pots in the future.

Re: Marie Hewartson pot
It's texture is like the burnt charcoal on a log. There would have to be a few natives that complement the pot. The pot has got me thinking about landscapes which is a good sign.

This pot and tree will be part of a future thread so I will keep it under wraps for about 6 months.bodhidharma wrote:Well, why the suspenseGrant Bowie wrote:I have already potted; surprise, surprise, a native into it.Stop teasing and give us a piccy. Sorry..pleeaaase

Re: Marie Hewartson pot
Beautiful pots, another great aussie potter to add to the list
First one reminds me a lot of Tony Remmington's pots from the UK, second one not so much though, but still stunning all the same

Thanks for sharing grant

Have a question? The AusBonsai Wiki most likely has the answer!

Re: Marie Hewartson pot
Very nice, and unique. I'd like to do a cement one but lost the post that showed them being made.
How lucky you are to have contacts that do bonsai pots. Wish I did.
I like the unusual. Rather than what they offer for sale in Bunnings.
