Anyone suscribe to Mikbonsai?
I've learned a lot from his YouTube series. Growing mangoes from seed, and re-potting Quince. My two cuttings are still alive and blooming. He's stationed in London, by the way. So a temperate moist region. By English standards of course.

Re: Anyone suscribe to Mikbonsai?
Thanks Pat, I'll have to check him out. Am constantly looking for new stuff on youtube
My youtube regulars are:
Bjorn (The art of Japan series)
Graham Potter (Amazing youtube video's, very easy to understand)
Ryan Niel (He doesn't have a channel, but has a heap of videos. I find his demo's and workshops really informative)
Bonsai Eejit (Fella from the UK, great bloke and he posts some great videos from Willowbog)
Sandev Bonsai (From croatia, has heaps of good videos, and a heap featuring walter pall as well)
Andrew Sellman (Aussie bonsai artist who has studied in japan, and a member of this forum. Great series on his time in Japan)

Re: Anyone suscribe to Mikbonsai?
For beginners there was a site called Bonsai farm. I think it is an Australian or NZ site. That's good too.
Mikbonsai do have long instructions. But on YouTube, he has 7 editions of How to grow a mango seed. Yes he does speak slowly doesn't he.
I think he is Asian sub continent originally. And his mango series, does work for me. And his advice on re-potting a Quince. I used it when I took cuttings, and as one had several feeder roots, I did wrap it in Spags moss. As well as root hormone. They are still alive after 3 weeks, with flowers too. And green buds breaking out.
And it is free to subscribe, and they send the series via email. Then I move them into my bonsai file for later reference.
Cheers
