I would like some ideas for wiring/styling my wisteria
This 13 yr old wisteria of mine just flowered it's firld grown so first time in pot (looks like a bunch of sticks really but breathtaking blooms I brought it indoors for the show (and because the fragrance is my quinessential childhood in sth america) but I think she needs to be butchered to come into her true form ............. I live in an apartment so space and sunlight in winter is an issue ...................

My advice for what it is worth, after flowering cut the long branches back by 50% or so to a shoot. No wiring required at this stage.

Thanx guys I was wondering how to approach those two really long ones ( also I think I greedily want to keep as much flowering surfaces as humanly possible ) was thinking of forcing them up but yeah makes sense to give it a chop .......as for the scenery it has it's drawbacks, namely constant salty wind ..but the dolphins make up for it
will be experimenting with coastal natives soon
