BSV Sept Meet, Tridents and crabapples.

Post by Gerard »

Last night Peter gave a presentation on the methods he uses to produce his wonderful little trident maples.
The display table had a couple of stunning crabapples

and preparations for our show in less than 2 weeks.

Lovely Crabapples Gerard and beautiful crisp photo's as well.

I hope you don't mind but I have used these two pictures in the Wiki page as they are in my opinion fantastic examples.

Seeing as this Wiki page is low on information (only really a template) perhaps you might like to use this thread to share a few things learned re. maintenance, training pruning fertilising etc?

One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Thanks Boics,
They are not my trees, they were on the display table at the club. I will leave the wiki for the owner or someone who knows the more about crab apples
I agree with inspired, I particularly like the dark flowers on the second tree.
