Lilac Removing

Post by dandybonsai »

My Grandmother has just past away, and my Mum wants me to remove most plants (left to me) by my Grandma was growing for me!

Some are in Pots but the 5 Lilacs are in bloom can I remove them, without killing them?(Did check Wiki!)

I have said to my Mum to please tell me, what see doesn't like so I can remove, without loss!

The Azalea are in a shade house so ok for now.

There's two 30 year plus Prunus regrowing by my work, but are on the border of a fenceline, have been told to not destroy the fence! should I get a fenci fencing Erecter to remove section??

Did remove a few plants straight away,a pot was "Missing" already some people are :(

I think it would be ok to dig lilac now. Many flowering plants are repotted after flowering regardless of whether they have leaves.

re prunus - depends on how good they are. Prunus relatively easy to find so not worth much except for a few exceptional specimens :imo:
