This is the tree I started for my eldest daughter, Penny, when she was born. It has been neglected, to the point that I forgot which was the selected front and removed branches that I needed. Most of the trunks died over successive summers.
Now I have finally completed a styling of the tree in anticipation of new spring growth.

First styling looks good so far!
With Willows, the hardest thing is to get ramification nice and tight down the branches but you seem to be doing a good job so far!
Well done and thanks for sharing!

There are many ways to do things, but only one "best" way.

Thanks MoGanic! I'm paying a lot more attention to it now; I really like weeping style trees.

Re: Penny's Weeping Willow
hi mark
take a thick cutting now pop it in a bucket of water and it will root , make sure to change the water every few days as willows don't like stagnant water well thats what i've found works for me when it's rooted i plant in a mixture of diatomite and coir fiber for a year making sure to tie the tree up nice and firm in the pot so it cannot move willows are the easiest thing to propagate
regards
