Their was varying opinions ( including my own ) on the variety Leptospermum I had entered in the Shohin. It was agreed that until it flowered it was not an easy task.
Well it has 2 flowers on it and one has opened. Using the internet and my books I have been able to ID it as, "Aphrodite" a cultivar of L.spectabile.

Although the flowers are about the size of a twenty cent piece the leaves a small. This cultivar was found and developed at the Bywong nursery ,not far from Canberra.
