Problems indeed :(

I'll be uploading mine to photobucket tonight, and will share the link that way :) That way you get the pictures, plus I can upload them in a better quality then I would be able to here. Will have them up tonight though

For some reason, my laptop just doesn't play well with this site, and I think the same thing happened with my pics last year too :palm:

Pup, that Claret Tipped Mel you had on display was my favourite...  The Shohin Wooly Bush was also a highlight. And they said you couldn't do it... You showed them.

One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Looks like there was plenty to take in - very nice! Not sure if it just the photos but the natives are hands down the highlight IMO - think I'm feeling a little inspired....! ;)

There were some great examples of native bonsai at the show, and they got quite a lot of interest from the public too :tu: As always, the pictures really don't do them justice

I think the huge Azalea stole the show in the end, nobody could beleive it was real and not grafted (or glued :lost: ). It was suprisingly light too, compared with the other monsters on display :)

Excellent display gentlemen and ladies, thanks for your work all round. The big Mels are a knockout, and a couple of the rock-and-tree presentations were beautifully composed.

Is it giving you an error? I dont't have any privacy settings set, so it should just open to a page full of photos :lost:

Some beautiful trees all round (and as usual, I spent most of my time trying to learn from the displays there

As well as Pup's usual superlative selection, I was taken by a literati Azalea. And humbled by the thriving Acers - mine struggle.

But at the end I have to agree that

Every year the BSoWA manage to find a seriously impressive tree. At the other extreme I just loved the companion plants.

A big thank you to all involved with the show. The trees are gorgeous, the photography excellent.
I love the natives especially the wooly bush! :hooray:
Too think that a few decades ago common knowledge said that you couldn't bonsai a native :reading: Look how far Australians have come in such a short time. I can only imagine the quality of the trees the next generation shall be developing, not only improving the current trees as they are passed on but also new species which haven't been used much if at all as yet.
