I was gifted a tree as a yamadori from a friend's garden some years ago. Air layered the top off the orginial tree to create a second tree and then airlayered the second tree to create a third tree. The first tree is in training as bonsai, but the two others have some time to go before their training will start. One of my favourite parts of Bonsai is the propogation techniques.
The bonsai in training will be potted in a smaller pot and the potting angle changed. It has a couple of flaws which I want to hide until i can rectify them.
The stand is 40cm. Should give an indication of the sizes of trees.

The tree still had a nursery tag on it when I removed it from the ground. It only stated it was "Chinese Juniper". No variety.
