First post here is my very first Corky bark, had it as a "bonsai" for a few years then decided I wanted a big tree out of it so first cut it right back coz it was straight as a telegraph pole and then began growing it again.
The benefit has been that now from root and stem cuttings I have about 8 on the go.
So here the first;
beginning now to develop a nice lower taper at the base of the trunk, been in the big boys pot for about 12-18 months
This is one of the root cuttings, not looking really health at the mo', just battling the heat and humidity I think.
The pot is the first pot I created at a pottery class, modelled after the ancient eastern style taught at schools of my era known as the "ashtray"
Love the root on this one and the way it has adhered itself to the rock, not real fussed on the top, I'll take any suggestions.
and just a little clean up trim, didn't want to do too much to it judging it's health. It's probably not sitting exactly in the right direction in the pot but will take your advice on this as well.

Just more of those root cuttings I mentioned, have taken around a year to get a hold of the rock
number one number two and cut back a more recent one, around three months ago
