Dunno why no one else has commented, But id not have a problem with the lumpy bit on the bottom.
I would like to see a close up o0f first, but I think it looks ok and in character of the tree.

IMHO rules are meant to be broken and this is one example when it is okk to do so. At least in the pictures posted. in real like might be a little different

Perhaps it's the antiquated thread that is preventing more robust discussion?
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful
