Bush fire bonsai grouping, has it been done?

I drove through Wyong on the Central Coast of NSW where there was a fire in October 2013, the bush has bounced back well in most places and the trees have tonnes of new growth sprouting everywhere.

This got me thinking, has anyone been brave enough to recreate a bushfire scene within a small native bonsai grouping (with or without actual fire)?

Would the bonsai bounce back in the same way?

Could the recreation of these bush fire affected trees be accepted within the Aussie bonsai community as a new style?

I have used fire to regenerate native trees on more that one occasion. Melaleucas and Callestimons, mainly I use a butane gas flame from a camp cooker. I do protect the live foliage. There are posts of this here.

One of the members of the BSV had a eucalyptus(red box?) at the meeting last night and commented that he simulated a bushfire to stimulate back budding lower down on the trunk.
