I know she hates anything citrus so thought about maybe sone orange peel in the pot to keep her at bay.
Would the acidity have an affect on the plant or soil?
Its at the point where i probably wouldnt have to defoliate, i could leave her on the deck for half hour and she woukd do the job for me

I'm surprised she's eating fern; tough kitteh. Have you tried giving her her own pot with pet grass in it... down low where she can get at it?

Mine has an addiction to Japanese maple leaves especially on one year old sapplings.
