Got a bit excited seeing my magnolia color up for Autumn and couldn't help but share :D

Looking at pictures I have found of nyssa they seem to have glossy leaves. Hmmmm maybe I should have posted this in the ID forums :lol:

Although the species may be unknown for now, great photo none the less. The colors are looking great, good job mate.

... Agree with Squizzy. I've got one of these (just a stick in a pot at the moment) and the leaves look the same... Bought it specifically for autumn colour.

Yeah nyssa is an excellent tree for autumn colour. I can't remember mine being super glossy. Nice colour and good photography. Will have to go and find mine now.

my magnolia leaves looked like them. my variety is a small white flower type "waterlilly".

GavinG the only reason I can not argue with certainty that it is a magnolia is due to not being fortunate enough to have seen it flower yet.
Having said that I have read that when grown from seed it can take up to 15 years to flower.

Tien do you recall how long it took to flower? You wouldn't happen to have a photo would you? As a side note, both Wisteria and the European Beech I purchased from you are doing well :tu:

Thanks Pearcy001, I am fairly stoked with how its coming along. All credit to the previous owner though, I have only had it for about a year now.
