Update On Banyan Fig.

Post by boom64 »

Hi All ,I thought I would post a few pics of a Banyan Fig I started in 2010.I last posted in November 2012,maybe a mod could add the link :) .It finally moved out of its polly box this summer and into a pot. The old piece of Casuarina has long since rotted away ,leaving a hollow section. Not to sure if it fits the bill as a Banyan style. I have planted it a little high as I want to extend the foliage a little wider. Still unsure about the front . Cheers John.

Hi John,
It's coming along nicely,
I'm guessing this is three trees plaited together?
After roughly 20 years of growing bonsai, I reckon I might just be starting to get the hang of it...

Thanks Graeme ,that's the one. Yes Trident three trees and a piece of Casuarina. I was keen to have a go at most things shown on Aus Bonsai in the early days....John.

When I create a progression thread I always bookmark it so that I cane easily find it later to update.
The other way is to go to your own profile and you then list all your own posts. I do that then search the result to narrow it down to few pages.
I can usually find what I am looking for that way
