Hope you've enjoyed the photos.
This was my first convention and I have thoroughly enjoyed it and met some lovelly people, plus I won one of the raffle prizes which is a nice bonus
Still one day to go with the workshops shcheduled in the morning and the afternoon.

I don't trust Bonsai, they are a little shady.

Cheers,

The Weeping Willow is on it's way to the National Collection in Canberra. I'm pretty happy about that although I'm missing it already

Great photos Dave, especially of the demonstrators.

Gerard,
Very impressive mate love the composition. Refinement is such a joy to watch over time.
Although, I must admit I am absolutely pining to see this in a slightly larger, more shallow pot
.
Cheers mate,
Mo

There are many ways to do things, but only one "best" way.

One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Re: 2015 AABC National Convention - Adelaide
just arrived back in Melbourne late last night, with a relatively empty car.
for those local people who were at the convention on the weekend and saw what i had for sale in the trading area, and are still interested in them, i have later sold the lot to Bonsai Mujo nursery. the trees were left at the owner's private residence, but i am sure if you make an enquiry, he will be more than happy to bring them to the nursery for viewing.
regards
Tien

I like the 2 main trees reworked. But I kind of prefer the 3 minor ones ''as before'' The the extreme left one in particular seems forced down to far to me?Gerard wrote:Before and after Koji workshop
