ID Prunus

Post by Inspired »

Had this unknown prunus (or that is what I think it is) for almost 2 years.

It grows fresh green leaves first and I just noticed the flowering buds that are swelling now which should bloom any day now.

I think it will bloom before my other prunuses which flowers first and leaves out later.

Judging by the bark and the crinkly looking leaves I'd guess a cherry of some sort. Cherry has distinctive shiny bark with white stripes.
