It had some basic styling done to it but the branches seemed to go off at bad spots, the existing branches were very leggy and the branches I needed were quite a few years away. I liked the main line of the tree and decided that I could use one of the branches for a shohin literati (or little-rati as they shall now be known)

I have reduced the foliage over the last 2 years and played around with some of the branches (which I don't have photos for, sorry)
It has to undergo some more shari/carving/jin work next year but I think it is on a good path.
Constructive comments always welcome.
