Sinuous juniper group

Post by treeman »

This was neglected ''down the back'' for a couple of years. I had lost interest due to branches dying off etc so it was not touched at all till now. It was in an old styro box infested with weeds.
I decided it deserved a second look so I took it by the throat a few days ago and trimed and wired.
It was a layer which had 7 trunks originally. 1 died so I was forced to remove another.
We will see what happens health wise this spring. If it puts out new shoots from the sick areas it should be ok?
The insiration for this was the Needle juniper groups you see in the older books.
