Display Stand Hire [Melb]

Post by JaseH »

Most of us dont have the luxury of a room full of display stands to choose from when an exhibition comes around. I have a few that I thought I might offer up for hire when I'm not using them. I'm in Melbourne S.E. and it would be on a pick up only basis. I do attend a few local clubs so can possibly meet up there also.

I'm thinking a fee of $30 for a weekend exhibition, plus a small refundable security deposit to protect against damage or loss.

Good on you mate! Nice stands, hope you've got them tagged!

The presentation standard of our show this year was undoubtably much higher due to the vastly increased use of stands!

I think general attitudes of club members in Australia are slowly changing to realise that the display of bonsai is an art in itself :tu: ... not simply any tree, in any pot, plonked on a table :palm:
Cheers, Ryan

Thanks Ryan - yeah hopefully this helps a few people out. Stands aren't thick on the ground here in Aust!
