I must agree with you Jase, for me the beech was an absolute standout.
(the beach with the sea shell was OK too)

Thanks for putting these pics up Gerard, there are some beautiful trees there. The triple trunk Mel (I think it is anyway) gives me some ideas for one I'm working on.
May I ask, the second pic in the second lot of photos, is that a Swampie?

Semi cascade is a Chinese elm, the dawn redwood looks excellent especially when out of leaf

The 2016 exhibition is fast approaching (next weekend October 8th and 9th) expect a few improvments/changes to the display. This year there will be an effort to hihlight several yamadori

Some nice specimens there and thanks for the photos Gerald. Unfortunately I missed out this year due to my Japan trip...visiting Omiya bonsai village & Tokoname pottery town worth visiting for anyone staying in Tokyo / Osaka.
