It was a bunch of individual rocks that come in 5 kg batches for aquascaping from the LFS. I then arranged them in a rugged fashion while bonding them together using this stuff:

It has the strongest bond of anything Ive used prior, Hugh can attest to that too. We tried aquaknead it for the tie down points and all of them failed :tounge:

Might be a good idea to get a custom pot made.

Here's my idea of the dimensions Id like it to be in its refined stage. Although Im open to virt's.

Thanks Jezz, but due to the delicate nature of the whole setting I might wait it out a year before doing anything to it other watering/feeding. Some heavy branches need tweaking and I dont think the fresh fine feeders will appreciate being disrupted.

You've got the material now, enjoy it. Grow it, nurture it, let it tell its story. Nice trunk character and interesting composition. Keep us updated :fc:

My bad habit, drawing trees so that the final form might be difficult to attain (although this one might be an exception)

That is definitely reachable and something to take into account.

Thanks for taking the time to do that, I really like that sketch and somewhere inbetween mine and yours the ultimate form will fall.

Edit: Love your site and the Picea clump!!! Great work.
