Hornbeam species identification

Post by lenlen »

Hi everyone,

I'm fairly sure this is a European hornbeam, but I would like confirmation.
Thanks in advance! :)

Hi lenlen, Japanese , European and American hornbeams have very similar leaves , shape and length being slightly different . A google search should put you in a better picture having the plant in your possession . It looks very similar to my collection which are American Hornbeams .

Cheers .Alpineart
