Now if I did that anyone would be able to grow good root over rock bonsai really easily What would that do to the market Put some really good root over rock into it

Our club is doing a root over rock workshop on Tuesday evening. I will try to remember to take some pics of the process and if you are all reeeeaally good I might even post some.

My daughter is in love with rock over rock and I'm thinking of having a go at growing her one. Hopefully something she can keep for a long time time
Looking back at this post from when I first stared is quite........funny I didn't realise how much i have learnt since this post.
I don't know where the photos are but 12months after I posted this I removed all the soil and wrapped the roots to the rock with grafting tape. I had a poke around the top of the rock today and noticed that the roots have started to thicken and the truck is now the size of my thumb, I never intended for this to be a large bonsai but rather a shohin informal upright.
I do know its out of season but I want to slip pot this to a shallower pot to encourage the roots to grow down and trim any roots that have escaped the wrapping. I don't intend on pruning the roots or removing the wrapping, would this be ok at this time of year?

Thanks for the plug Peter. I've been growing root over rock trees for around 30 years and foil is by far the best material I've found, especially for species with aggressive roots like tridents.
What would that do to the market
or good at it
