Hi Guys,
Elmar tipped me off about a bunch of mels standing out in a small patch of dirt all by themselves a few days ago, so I went to check them out this morning. They're not like the usual Mel Leucadendra we have around town. There's only about 6 trees planted in a 1m2 patch
I've taken a series of photos and hopefully someone here can point us in the right direction. A mate of mine this they could quite possibly be Mel. Quinquenervia.
Cheers!

How many large veins do the mature leaves have? I believe Mel Q has 5.

I don't trust Bonsai, they are a little shady.

Maybe Melaleuca linophylla or lasiandra ,both are local to your region . You may need the flower for positive id .

I don't recall seeing the flowers, but the only difference I can see is one has little white flowers and the there has little green flowers ...
