Thanks fredman. That's what i'll be doing. . . But I still have no clue what to do with it now. Do i leave it as is? or should i defoliate it & wait for new growth?

For the moment defoliate and seasol it - I would do it once a day for a couple of weeks. It could be a result of out of season root pruning and no water. I wouldn't do anything else to it until it recovers.

Keep an eye on the water.
Moist not wet and fingers crossed.
Time will tell green under trumk scratch is a good sign but this can change.....
