I work with potters that don't mind some movement so I have to find my own way when it comes to stopping that. I have started to dry them really slowly and although no one else uses bats under their work I will have to start following other bonsai potters by doing so.
A nice oval to start Bit too much movement in this one but I think I will find a use for it. I love this straw glaze. This was another of my first attempts at the crack effect. It had lots of movement even before it started drying but I am happy with the rustic finish.
Oh and if you look close at the base you will see where I have tried to cover up the base that was added from the bottom with little squiggly lines to replicate the cracks. It was much more obvious before glazing so I am happy.
