Hi Joe. Where are you in Brisbane? I have some benjamina figs that might be suitable however, I know of a few places that you could obtain cuttings from big Port Jackson trees (I had a few success trials with these).

It's that time of the year. Go to a park, find a fig tree, or two, collect 4 or 5 fresh fruit from under the tree, take them home, squash out the seed, spread them out on top of a pot or 2 of soil and keep moist. In a few weeks you'll have hundreds to choose from.
