Cannonball trees...
I was lucky enough to obtain one some years ago...then I lost it when trying to sell my land and neglected my trees. Now I am looking for another one but find it hard to find a source even seeds are hard to come by. Just wondering if anyone has any information about these

Hi Kvan,
I think it's important to be a bit formal identifying trees so here goes - Couroupita guianensis is a relative of Brazil nut.

DK, as a suggestion have you checked your Royal Botanical Garden. They may have one, then its a matter of picking up some cannonballs for seed.
Not sure if you can find what they grow via their webb site. Or if there is a number to all them.

Re: Cannonball trees...
I actually did check the botanic gardens in the area. No luck yet! I used to see them listed online from some nursery. Now can't find them anywhere

Re: Cannonball trees...
Thank you for the info. I wish I know someone there. Anyone here ...there? I am willing to pay decent $ for seeds. I saw some on eBay but don't want custom officers knock on my door...again.KIRKY wrote:Hey DK, do you know anyone in Cairns. Seems there is/was one there.
