Looks to be coming along well.

Yep, it would seem to me like you didn't do any candle removal this summer?
Either that or you did it very early?

In comparison to my JBP's the new candles are extending (post summer candle removal) and I'll be close to candle selection time (reducing to two's) in the coming weeks.
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

This one is looking a little less vigorous this summer. Think I may have screwed up the timing of trimming as I had far too much of my work on last spring.

Anyhow. Here is a summer update. Thinking of resting it till next spring but I've said that before.
