This is the first suiseki stone I have cut just yesterday. The end I cut off was ok but until it can stand alone a rocks potential as a shallow tray suiseki cannot be fully realised. I cut the petrified wood on a 10 inch tile saw and ground to tweek the stance of the rock. At first I intended to remove some of the cemented gravels in crevices but I liked how they appeared to infer an avalanche or simliar natural landslide.
