So here is one of the few trees that began as a seed in a punnet in my fridge.
I really thought that a cryptomeria would struggle in the north queensland heat but it loves it, its biggest growth spurt was in our 40 plus degree summer!
19 months on and showing good growth. im excited for this little guy but a little concerned that the growth habit has split in so many ways and leave me with a reverse taper.
Any suggestions hugely welcome as im something of a remedial bonsaist hahaha.

Looking good. Where did you source the seed? I love the smell of their sap

Bought them online. It was only once they arrived that I realised they came from Japan and i just fluked it!
