Hi Peter,
I like the angle at which the tree is planted in the virt, but I dont mind the canopy/apex I think its ideal for the species and style of the composition. The bigger issue has already been stated, the trunk....just my opinion.
At the end of the day different people will like different things and its all good otherwise life would be pretty boring :D

yea i have penny, check my "im pee-ing off for a while thread to read about it...

im up there again tomorrow to sign some papers and pay some cash, but we have found a place, which gives me a little time to write in the threads, ill be off for a while soon though. :D

i am curious of peoples opinions as to what they prefer, the fuller look or the minimalist look
I can see what you mean Peter and on close examination, I preferr the minimalist tree. The creation of negative space takes away the 'Topiary look'

How long did it take you to get the canopy to be that dense?

Probably only a year or 2.
they are very quick growers and if worked often, do not take long

That's real quick! Mine have taken a fair while to even get to the condition they are in and that is nowhere to close to te canopy that you have there. Can you share your cultivation regieme and soul type etc?
