Ficus Benjamine side swept carved

Here a ficus that was cut back 6 month ago, I bend the branches wind swept style and used the "Terrier" to carve out the cuts. Cuts received sulphuric acid.

Andreas, in the windswept style, shouldn't all branches be swept in the same direction by the wind?

Also, did you mean 'sulphuric acid' was applied to the cuts? This is the first I have heard of this. Usually cut paste is used to seal the wounds so that they heal over.

In my vision all branches are in one direction, maybe I don't name it right, please suggest something that would fit better. The sulphuric acid application I took over from a friend of mine to stop the rotting process again it is lime sulfur to bleach, sterilise, and preserve deadwood on my bonsai trees. I used in the past and it works well. In Indonesia its a bit of a pain in the neck to get all items such as good pots and healing paste as well. Thank you for the comment, I am still learning too.

i presume mild sulfuric acid would be similar to lime sulphor. Windswept is generally all one direction but examples in nature do also have some branches opposite often shorter as displayed. All so in most cases the trunk has some lean but not all might be protected lower by a rock outcrop etc. to me this looks more like a river bank or waterfalls edge tree i like where it is heading. As to others comments yes not all posts get responses many of mine in the past have not got the responses i expected. But if you are only posting for comments then perhaps try a facebook group.

Hi Rintar, thanks for the comment. I am on more then one forum and FB, my objectives are based on learning and critics rather then showing off. I consider for excample this, of how to name my Bonsai's correct a good information. I still lack the termination simply I never started learning it and for sure i need a lot of more skills, that is the reason for being here in the first place. Since Australia has all climates I thought there would be more people discuss these subjects (tropical). Well we see what happens. Are you a founder of this forum or just a long term member? I see the tool pocket that comes with increasing postings and experience and probably, the indications of skills too. Anyhow, I hope that we all get a lot more experience here with plenty of discussions.

I am not admin though have afmuned non bonsai forums i am a Bonsai novice. Most of the information i kniw has been gleaned from this sight and followed up with research and all answers i give are to MY interpretation which may be well off from others. My bonsai level is barely that of a hobbiest. I do enjoy growing small trees and i mostly do it to my own flavour and enjoyment. Though i do enjoy learning more i feel as long as the owner likes the tree their is littke harm in any mistakes. As we grow and learn we may no longer like what we originally did. But with most ficus you can choo them back and start again any way.
