Andora Juniper - 'crab'

Post by hugh grant »

Hi!
Thought id share one of my latest works that is somewhat in its initial stages of reaching maturity as a bonsai.
Andorra Juniper, Juniperus horizontalis 'plumosa'
urban collected juniper material which began work as raw material in January 2015. Potted 3 months ago into this nice modern Chinese container.
it measures approximately from highest to lowest extremity 60cm and width of 65cm

appropriately we have named this tree 'Crab' if you get my drift ;)

Very nice and great pot combo :tu: the deadwood work is great i just get drawn abit to that first long section of deadwood . Maybe when that lower branch fills out abit it might lessen that effect . get artistic work :tu2: :tu2:

Yeah once the foliage thickens up and around somewhat on that lower branch it should break up that section a bit, another season should do it.

My thoughts go to The Dark Crystal.

Nice work Hugh. Great material to create something interesting.
