Jessamine planting

Post by Andreas »

Hi everybody, dug this branch of a Jessamine out of my garden, to my surprise only one very long root, so I cut it and put it over night into water with root grow hormones. Then I potted it into Lava-compost 3/1 ratio. If you got a full name, that would be great too.

After now 3 days it start shooting, but this may say nothing (survival instinct may kick in), has anybody experience with this trees and branch cuttings?? Living in the tropics sometimes you only need a branch, and stick it in the ground, hopefully it will catch on because the way it has grown in the promising curves is what I am after.
