Hi
Don't know anything about the stock..but be careful scalping that trunk,the cambium lines look skinny from top to the bottom to branching,isolate them too much with tissue damage,then the energy lines are suppressed,causing die back and or maybe death,could be just the pic,just my observation,hope you don't mind..Anthony

Dont mind at all mate thanks for the advice. I dont really care if it survives or not. I know nothing about these aswell. It was more of a random bored project than anything serious

I would say it is a Buddhist pine Podocarpus macrophyllus, I got a few of them. Hard to kill, they grow back quite good. Full sun and good draining soil, fertilisation once a week.
