Autumn was a bit disappointing because I was waiting for the nice red coloured leaves on my maple that just didn't happen. The weather has been so weird this year.
This was late April with some nice growth from over the summer

And today I attacked. I've just got off all the extended ends at this point so I can figure out which direction I want to go. I'd rather not have it so tall.

I also gave my grevillea a bit of a haircut too before it starts crazy growing again
Theres a lot of branches on this plant and I'm gonna be asking for a lot of help with which ones to eliminate.

I'm also yet to decide which of the two angles will be my front.

Hi Catelyn, I was in Toowoomba on Tuesday, and went to the Harmony Tea Garden at Highfields. Sam has some nice stock for bonsai there, as well as pots, etc. I noticed he had a good selection of maple starters too.

They're at 10483 New England Highway, Highfields, just near the Chocolate Cottage. It just looks like a standard residence, but you can drive in, and all the plants, pots etc are out the back.

I went there quite recently after somebody told me about it. Beautiful collection there! I will definitely be heading back at some point to find some other starters :D
