I have had some issues with dieback at certain times, although i feel it might have something to do with pruning at the wrong times. Be sure to share some pics of yours as it develops.

It's a happy mad Spring thing, isn't it? For me, one of the best clumps of Prunus Glandulosa (?-"Flowering Almond") I've seen. Difficult to get a good trunk or base on them. Well done.

Thanks Gavin, off pain meds now and its feeling ok i guess. Still cant lift the larger trees though.....

Spectacular! This species should be used more often. :imo:
Its actual name is prunus glandulosa flore pleno

Thanks for the ID Hackimoto. They are a good species to grow and they thicken quickly in the ground in good soil with lots of food.
