Just found this seedling growing in my garden bed... do you know what is it and is it worth bonsai it?

Looks like Acer negundo - box elder. It is quite weedy and comes up wherever there is a mature tree nearby.
Bonsai? Anything can be used for bonsai but do you really want a bonsai negundo? Cons: Large leaves and poor ramification; Pros: tough as nails, quick growing and will give you something to make mistakes on and learn so if you think you have time and space go ahead, otherwise pull it outa and destroy.

Agree Shibui they are a waste of time. Personally I wouldn't bother.
