Wauchope Bonsai Group Annual Show
On Saturday and Sunday, 15-16 October, Wauchope Bonsai Group is presenting a major Bonsai Exhibition, featuring a magnificent display of both traditional and native bonsai as well as suiseki (viewing stones).
This exhibition will be held at the Laurieton United Services Club from 10.00am-4.00pm each day. Demonstrations will be held daily at 11.00am and 1.00pm. There will be sales of bonsai, plants, pots and books. Repotting will be available for a small fee and free advice on growing bonsai will also be available.
Entry is adults $3, and children under 12 free if accompanied by an adult.

Wauchope Bonsai Workshop Group provides educational opportunities for its members to learn the art of bonsai by providing demonstrators and workshops. The group meets at 10.00am on the second Saturday of each month at the Rotary Hall, Oxley Lane, Wauchope and visitors and new members are always welcome.

There was a rush yesterday for the goodies on a huge sales table. No one looked at the trees for the first half hour if the show!
There is also a lot of high quality pots to choose from.

Up your way on the weekend and dropped in. Must say the display was of top quality. Natives were fantastic, along with the Suiseki (particularly the "Cheese" and mouse.
