Help to save Bonsai

Post by Clementine »

I found this Bonsai almost dead at my dads house. I've been trying to save it. I don't know much about Bonsai. Does anyone know the species and what it needs. I've been watering it every day. Given it compost and trimmed back most of the dead leaves. But it's still not thriving. The pot is small and the soil dries up really quickly.
It may need a new pot? Different soil?

Yes a photo would help to determine what species. If it is a pine and it has gone brown it is already dead. Scratch the bark with your fingernail - if it is green underneath it is alive.

Probably pot bound and could do with a slip pot to.a bigger one.
Need a picture of the tree and foliage to identify
