Hi
Just getting my 2 favorite Bracky's ready to take down to the Vic Native Bonsai clubs last meeting for the year a Rupestris and a Bidwillii . Will Post some pics when I get back.
And just discovered new shoots on one of my new starter Bracky's. did not want to post any thing till I knew at least one of them would shoot.
Have been trying to get a nursery tree with a large bulge at base ( you dont know whats below the surface till you repot. ( the one on the right has a good bulge but will it shoot?)

Re: Bracky Starters
Love your post in the other "ideas" thread milo.
I also now know what a Bracky is!
Look forward to the progress of this lot.

One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Brachychiton Rupestris Big Fella
Hi
The big Fella has sprouted and has really taken off.
Unfortunately you can't control where the tree shoots from so have to work with what you get.
The smaller tree on left (Brachychiton Kurrajong ) has started to shoot , have laid wire on to turn shoots out instead of straight up.
PS sorry about the run of Brackys ( But once I start )
