Another re-direct if I may, this from viewtopic.php?f=133&t=19124 also from two years ago.
Simply into a larger based flat pot with a "disc" underneath to build nebari. Almost went in the ground grown area, not sure how big I want this yet, we'll see how the "twist" develops

I have been using the bottom of pots as discs with good results. Let it run for a season or 2 and see how the curve softens, could develop into something interesting
