My crab apples leaves have turned yellow and have started to fall off. I have put the tree in the shade under the bench, i'm worried that anymore heat will kill it. Any advice on what to do is appreciated.

If not overwatering then maybe a nitrogen deficiency.
Have you been feeding it?
