The Hebel pot ressurection - Portulacaria afra

Man, this tree/shrub/succulent/pigfood has had so many lives it's not funny. I have sworn to cut it down too many times, it has fallen out of it's pot too many times, has come out of the junk pile too many times and yet it remained and as fate would have it, there is a purpose.
Photos of this go back to 2005 as a branch cutting about as big as your pinkie but photos were lost in the "Cryptolocker" hardrive crash of 2014
these are what was saved as some sort of progression.

and re-birthed in a pot seemingly made for it.

again hope you enjoy, it was an unbelievable struggle to get it in there, two men required if you believe it, but I think (my own humble opinion only) it was worth the effort , a couple of months will tell.

That's a hell of a chunk of elephant food Watty, and the pot suits it completely!

I have some chunky stalks growing in my tree-nursery-boat that you have inspired me to have a crack at.

Thanks TT, I''ll be honest I have contemplated changeing the colour and texture of this pot and may well still do so.

What are you doing to shape and colour the hebel? Are you starting with a solid block of Hebel?

Yes Glenn that started out as a solid block

colors have been a mix of cement colours and grout colours.
